yup, just another week in africa.

but it was awesome!!!

so much stuff happened that i dont even know where to start!

so we had two baptisms again this week!!! which is always super exciting! Sr. emmanuel and our david, a14 yearold weve been working with got baptized!!!! I didnt think it was going to happen but with some hard work and faith, it did!

we taught koudjo this week! so happy to finally teach him! his boss is leaving march 2nd so hopefully, we can baptize him after that!!! we are still waiting for prosper and sandra though... stupid dowry... its in the process of working its self out though.

the problem is... transfers. they always get in the way of things. transfers are coming up on saturday, and i do not want to leave. but since training with elder teaupa is over this week.... one of us will probably leave... maybe.

anyways, on thursday, elder teaupa and I made Boumbas!!! haha!!! yup the whole african pant and shirt out of pine clothing thing. mine has money signs all over... prosper is actually making them for us with a couple ties!!! so excited!!!

on friday, we had the coolest thing happen to us. we were walking an appointment and we see a white lady with a baby buying fruit. elder teaupa and i actually were going to buy some mangos, so we went over. she asked us if we were americans. we said we were togolais, and then said yes. then she asked if we were mormons. so we said yes. she then explains how she grew up colorado, but is married to a togolais guy and has been living here for five years. she then gave us an invitation to come and talk to her sometime about the church and she even invited us to dinner!!!! so, we are calling her tonight to fix a mangez vous with her!!! we are hoping for a steak or something... anyways, she is super cool, and her husband is just a massive guy.

we had a zone conference this week. which i had to translate for...again... it was preparing us for the elections coming up in benin and in togo! and security and the dos and the donts... mostly the donts. it was actualy really exciting and interesting. but elections arent for another month or two, they still havent fixed a date.

overall the week was productive, im excited for this week and elections coming up!

oh my! i forgot! it rained again this week!!! haha!!! it was, as usual, crazy! i loved it! we were soaked to the bone!!!
